Strategic Plan
Five years ago the district created a strategic plan with three main pillars - Strong Learning Environment; Strong Connections: School, Family, Community; and Vibrant Learning Systems. While we have been through a pandemic and there have been seismic shifts in our culture, staff, teachers and administrators have made significant progress on the goals.
It's time for Hudson – the district and the community – to look at a new plan, for the next five years and beyond. Should there be changes to the Portrait of a Graduate? What do you want your students to learn? Are our facilities appropriate for education today?
On Monday, a form will be shared with families, staff and community members to join the Strategic Plan Steering Committee. This committee will meet over the next 12-18 months to review best practices, hold community forums and build a plan that reflects the goals of this community. We are looking for broad representation and I hope that you consider joining.
School & Athletic Calendars
Did you know that the school district website has a great calendar feature? Each school has a Google calendar that feeds the district website and users can select which calendars they would like to subscribe to.
Hudson Memorial and Alvirne High School have also just added athletic calendars.
