Designated Volunteer Information
All schools within the Hudson School District use designated volunteers for a variety of tasks and projects. These individuals are crucial to the day-to-day functioning of the buildings and help provide resources to students and staff alike. Volunteers are used for many reasons throughout the district, including help with athletics, parent-teacher organizations, book fairs, and field trips to name a few.
In order to ensure the safety of everyone in our buildings, prospective designated volunteers must complete a series of requirements. To be a designated volunteer in the district, those who are interested must complete the following steps:
Submit a volunteer application to the appropriate school building or email it to Jennifer Lavoie at jlavoie2@sau81.org.
All required volunteer forms and district policies must be reviewed and completed. Completion of Know & Tell training is also required.
Volunteers must complete fingerprinting and a background check at the SAU office, by scheduling an appointment.
