Human Resources
The human resources department:
- Prepares all human resource policies and procedures
- Plans and coordinates the recruitment of all professional and support staff
- Maintains all personnel paperwork
- Ensures all credentialed staff maintain appropriate certifications
- Develops and administers the implementation of the district's health, life and dental insurance, retirement, COBRA, Section 125, and Health Care Portability Act compliance
Employee Title IX and Harassment Training
All employees of the Hudson School District are required annually to complete Title IX and sexual harassment training. All new employees of the district are required to complete the training upon hiring.
All employees are given access to and required to complete Primex’s online training course, Preventing Workplace Harassment for Employees, which is copyrighted material and requires a subscription to access.
The Human Resources department also trains employees using materials that include a presentation on Title IX that defines it, explains the roles of employees, and defines how the school district responds to complaints of sexual harassment and/or misconduct. District leadership members are also trained in conducting Title IX investigations, among other training materials.
