Bus Routes
The Hudson School District contracts with First Student for regular education transportation and Durham School Services for special education transportation. All routes are established by the bus companies using great care to be as convenient for families as possible, while also completing all routes in under an hour to ensure students arrive at school on time and for those reasons, changes cannot be made once the schedule has been established. We understand that some bus stop locations may be more convenient for others, but the schedule is established to the best of the companies’ abilities given the list of addresses they are provided. Also, please note that schedules change every school year and a student’s pick-up location may change from year-to-year and consideration may be given for extenuating circumstances. Students in kindergarten and first grade ride the bus for their neighborhood elementary school. Find your neighborhood elementary school here.

Request received to add stops to routes will be evaluated as those are received, and parents/guardians who have submitted these requests to Becky at First Student will be contacted by either Becky or the district once the determination has been made to approve or deny the request.
