Warrant Article 1 - Operating Budget

The proposed budget is $68,467,088. The budget reduces the number of teachers and staff that potentially would increase class sizes at certain grade levels. In addition, impact specific specialized educational programs and course offerings. If this article fails, the default budget is $68,864,328. (Estimated tax impact: Reduction of $0.30 Default tax rate impact: Reduction of $0.19)

Warrant Article 2 - Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Hudson School Board and the Secretaries

The three-year agreement brings hourly wages closer to the median for school administrative support staff in southern NH. Cost for 2025-26 is $82,123, cost for 2026-27 is $74,642 and cost for 2027-28 is $57,713. (Estimated first year tax impact: $0.02)

Warrant Article 3 - Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Hudson School Board and HFT

A two-year agreement with HFT which includes Teachers, Librarians, Nurses, and other professional positions. Includes an increase to the salary schedule to align with other southern NH districts. Cost breakdown: 2025-26 - $1,653,593; 2026-27 - $1,413,676. (Estimated first year tax impact: $0.33)

Warrant Article 4 - Fire Alarm Panel Replacement at Hudson Memorial School

Raises $75,000 to replace the outdated fire alarm panel at Hudson Memorial School. Funds for this project to come from surplus funds from the current school year and no amount to be raised by additional taxation.

Warrant Article 5 - Installation of Additional Emergency Alert Beacons

Raises $63,800 to add additional blue emergency alert beacons at all school buildings across the district.

Warrant Article 6 - Science Labs at Hudson Memorial School

Raises $225,000 to replace two more science labs at Hudson Memorial School. Two labs were updated in the 2023-2024 school year and two more were updated in the 2024-25 school year. There are a total of eight that need renovation. This is the third of a four-phase process. The final phase will be needed in the future.

Raises $150,000 to be added to the Capital Reserve School Renovation Fund. The funding for this article is to come from surplus funds from the current school year and no amount to be raised by additional taxation. (Estimated tax impact: $0.00)

Warrant Article 8 - Increase funds in the Alvirne Farm Capital Reserve Fund

Raises $150,000 to be added to the Alvirne Farm Capital Reserve fund that was established by voters in March 2024.
