NH Governor Kelly Ayotte Tours Hudson’s Palmer Center at Alvirne

HUDSON, N.H. – New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte visited The Palmer Center at Alvirne High School on Friday morning for a tour of the facility and to interact with students.

Ayotte was joined by Hudson School District administrators, local media outlets, and her administrative team for an hour-long tour of the building, led by CTE Director, Dr. Eric Frauwirth. Along the way, Ayotte was able to stop in at nearly all the building’s programs, including the Alvirne Farm, and interacted with plenty of students on topics ranging from their future aspirations to local issues.

The tour wrapped up at The Barnyard Café, where Ayotte greeted more students and interacted with members of the Gateways Adult Day Center, who were gathering for a meal catered by the culinary program’s students.

The Palmer Center has welcomed a few politicians through its doors over the past year, as U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan and Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander both had separate visits in the spring.
