Alvirne High School Social Studies teacher Donna Morin was recently announced as one of three educators nationwide to create a lesson plan for Annenberg Classroom's award-winning Constitution Project documentary series. Morin, who teaches college prep and Advanced Placement levels of psychology and U.S. government, crafted the lesson to be consumable for all learners as a great resource on the topic, "The Eighth Amendment: Cruel and Unusual Punishment." For the full story on the achievement, you can read the article on the Hudson School District website, located here.
Morin's full lesson plan, which is free to access, will be added to Annenberg Classroom's website later this month.
