HUDSON, N.H. -- Hudson School District has announced its plan to offer after-hours math support throughout March for students in grades 5-7 and 8-12 through virtual sessions via Teams.
Sessions are set to take place between 5:30-7:30 pm each Tuesday and Thursday during the month. The grades 8-12 session is being instructed by Alvirne High School math department chair, Shannon McCarthy. The grades 5-7 sessions are being divided between teachers Beth Ide and Stephanie Richard with Ide set to instruct the Thursday editions, while Richard teaches the Tuesday classes.
The program was implemented based on feedback received from families regarding the need for additional support with homework and problem-solving.
Links to join the sessions were sent to families of Alvirne High School, Hudson Memorial School, Hills Garrison Elementary, and Nottingham West Elementary via email.
