Strategic Planning Committee – Families & Community

Strategic Planning Steering Committee

The Hudson School District is in the process of developing a new strategic plan for the next five years. This plan will guide our vision, mission and goals.

To ensure that the strategic plan reflects the needs and perspectives of the community, we are forming a steering committee of 15 people who will lead the process. Subcommittees will provide input and feedback along the way. The steering committee will consist of staff, families, administrators, board members and community members.

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about the future of education in Hudson and willing to dedicate energy to this important initiative. The steering committee will meet once a month for about two hours, starting from October 2023 through 2024. The meetings will be held in person from 4-6pm, depending on the preference of the committee members. Due to the importance of this work, steering committee members should attend every meeting.

If you are interested in volunteering for the steering committee, please fill out the Strategic Planning Steering Committee form by October 2, 2023. The form will ask you to provide some basic information about yourself and your reasons for joining the committee. We will review all the applications and select the committee members based on the diversity of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.

I hope you will consider being involved. For people who are interested but are not able to participate at this time, there will be opportunities for subcommittees on specific topics and community input sessions. If you have any questions, please email info@sau81.org.
