When the school year ends, many children lose access to the daily breakfast and lunch they receive at school. We know that consistent nutrition plays an important role in a child’s over-all wellbeing, and summer should be a time for kids to play and thrive, not worry about where their next meal comes from.
If your family could use extra support during the summer months, there are free and low-cost food resources available to help ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals while school is out.
Local Food Pantries:
- Hudson Community Food Pantry and Hudson First Baptist Church Food pantry
Food pantries offer:

- Pantry Staples

- Household items
Pantries do not require proof or income and are welcoming, confidential spaces designed to help families feel supported.
