Hudson Families and Staff,
With the winter weather (finally) behind us, we can now announce the official last day of school for students and staff. Due to just two snow days this past winter, the final day for students will be Wednesday, June 17th, and the last day for staff will be Thursday, June 18th. Both final days will have a half-day schedule.
Here's to more warm weather!

Families of incoming first through sixth graders,
We are excited to announce that Xploration Summer STEM Camps are returning this summer! The camp fosters enrichment that inspires kids to design, create, and problem-solve using their critical thinking skills and teamwork. Each day will be filled with fun, hands-on learning, and creative free time.
Camps will run July 13-16 (incoming grades 1 + 2), July 20-23 (incoming grades 3 + 4), and July 27-30 (incoming grades 5 + 6). The camps will take place at Nottingham West Elementary School and are open to students who reside in Hudson. Each week costs $125 per student, and slots fill up quickly!
Registration for the camps will open on Tuesday, April 21, at 10 am. The registration link and more information on the camp can be found at sau81.org/families/stem-camp.
If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer St. Onge at jstonge@sau81.org.

Equine science students from The Palmer Center at Alvirne finished their unit on the evolutionary history of the horse last week. Students analyzed how changing climates turned forests into grasslands, forcing them to evolve from fox-sized forest creatures into the Equine we have today, including adaptations in their toes, teeth, and more.
