Calendar Reminders

Alvirne senior capstone week will conclude this evening with presentations that are open to the Hudson community. Anyone who would like to attend can drop in at the high school from 4:30 - 7:45 pm.

The Hudson School District is gathering feedback on Schoology, our current learning management system. Your responses will help us understand what is working well and where improvements may be needed. This survey is anonymous and will be open for responses until January 12th.

We would like to share some parent and family resources provided by the New Hampshire Department of Education and the Parent Information Center (PIC). The resources cover three areas: Improving Literacy Outcomes for All Children, Families as Partners in Literacy, and English Learner Literacy Resources. Within each of those focus areas, there are 4-5 modules for parents to access and gain resources and ideas from.

This past week, the Hudson School District took part in the New Hampshire Hunger Solutions' School Breakfast Challenge! Content was posted throughout the week on the district's Facebook page, promoting healthy eating habits and the benefits of having a daily breakfast.

You're invited to the Palmer CTE Center Open House at Alvirne High School!

Join us on January 28th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM to explore exciting career and technical education opportunities. Students and parents from Hudson are welcome to tour the facilities, meet teachers, and learn more about the programs available to you at Alvirne.

We're hiring for open roles around the district! Alvirne High School is searching for spring sports coaches, and The Palmer Center at Alvirne is looking for a transportation driver and part-time culinary assistant.

Alvirne High School freshman Olivia Tsechrintzis was featured in the Nashua Ink Link for her personal fundraising efforts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The full article can be found here.

Alvirne seniors presented their capstone projects all throughout the week to their student peers and teachers. The public can view capstone projects this evening from 4:30 - 7:45 pm at the school.

Just before the holiday break, the Alvirne Students of Faith Club brought joy to the residents at Gateways with a special visit with music and connection. Students sang and took song requests from those in attendance.
