Hudson School District Families, Students, Faculty, and Staff,

 

 

On Thursday morning, Alvirne High School initiated an evacuation procedure due to a classroom fire inside the building. All students, faculty, and staff were safely evacuated, and the Hudson Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire. The school community did a tremendous job of following directions and acting calmly to allow for our town’s first responders and administrators to handle the incident.

 

 

I would like to thank the Hudson Fire Department, Hudson Police Department, and neighboring towns’ fire personnel for their efforts in quickly and efficiently handling the incident. I would also like to thank the Alvirne students, faculty, and staff for their help in what was a seamless emergency protocol.

 

I am grateful that all the students and staff were safe and followed our school procedures. I hope everyone has a restful weekend.
