Hudson Families, Staff, Students, and Community,
I want to thank you all for a great first week of school. Students are back in the school routine, while teachers and staff are reviewing classroom and school procedures. At each of the buildings, arrival and dismissal are going well, and I’m very appreciative of everyone supporting the process. School co-curricular activities and sports are already starting around the district, which is an exciting time for students seeking to join a team and/or co-curricular activity as we start the new year.
The School Board and Superintendent are seeking feedback on the recent policy revisions to the Unauthorized Use of Communication policy. Please email the School Board at schoolboard@sau81.org. if you would like to leave any feedback. The Board will be reviewing this policy by the end of October.
I hope families, students, staff, and the Hudson Community enjoy the holiday weekend.

Coming up on September 23, Alvirne High School will be hosting a College/Post-Secondary Planning event in the Music Room. All are welcome, and it starts at 6:00 pm.

Last Friday night, Alvirne seniors gathered at the school to paint their parking spots for the upcoming school year. It's the second straight year that the school has held the colorful tradition.

We were thrilled to welcome back students on Monday with our first day of the 2025-26 school year.
|

|
All our schools held successful meet and greet events last Friday to help students and families get acclimated ahead of the new year.
