The Alvirne Music Department is pleased to announce that tickets are on sale now for Cabaret 2025: Musical Monarchs.

Cabaret is the music department’s largest annual event, and it is a great way to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month with three opportunities to hear our talented students:

Saturday, March 15th – 1pm

Saturday, March 15th – 6pm

Sunday, March 16th – 1pm

Alvirne High School Athletics and Friends of Music will be hosting a mattress sale fundraiser coming up on Mar. 8 at the school. The CTE Ambassadors from the Palmer Center at Alvirne visited Hills Garrison Elementary School on Wednesday to lead a lesson with a group of fifth graders. The Ambassadors taught their Leadership Legos class to the students, which included using legos to help showcase characteristics of leadership and teamwork.

Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander visited Alvirne High School and the Palmer Center at Alvirne on Wednesday. She visited multiple programs throughout the building and engaged with many members of the faculty, staff, and student body.

The district’s food services team worked together with students in the Palmer Center’s culinary class to develop a new menu item for students to try at the Alvirne cafeteria on Thursday. The students worked to create a chicken tortilla soup recipe, which turned out to be a resounding hit.
