The Nate Morin Memorial Blood Drive is set for February 18 from 1-6 pm in the JROTC room at the Palmer Center at Alvirne High School. The public is welcome to the event, and anyone interested in giving blood can reserve a time slot at redcrossblood.org and type "Broncos" in the search bar.

The Alvirne Penguin Plunge team had another successful year plunging into the Atlantic Ocean at Hampton Beach on February 8 to help raise funding for Special Olympics New Hampshire and Alvirne Unified sports programs. The group raised an astounding $9,357, which made them the 8th-highest fundraising team at the event. Freshman Fiona Duggan was also recognized as the 12th-highest fundraiser for Special Olympics New Hampshire for raising $1,295 individually.

The Hudson School District will host a State of the Town meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the Barnyard Café at the Palmer Center at Alvirne. The event is open to the public and we hope to see community members there.

Alvirne High School Athletics and Friends of Music will be hosting a mattress sale fundraiser coming up on Mar. 8 at the school. Hudson School District Food Services is looking to fill three open positions between Alvirne High School and Hudson Memorial School. The positions are all three-hour shifts and are either from 10-1 or 10:30-1:30. If you are interested or know someone who would be interested, please visit sau81.org/careers.
