It has been great having students and faculty back in the building and we're happy to have completed a successful first week! I hope everyone gets to enjoy this long weekend and we're looking forward to welcoming everyone back for week two on Tuesday.

As a reminder, please note that there will also be no school in the district on Tuesday, September 10 for a teacher workshop day.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these first few weeks as our students, families, and drivers get accustomed to this year's bus routes.

As a general reminder, please note that the district contracts with First Student for regular education transportation and Durham School Services for special education transportation. All routes are established by the bus companies using great care to be as convenient for families as possible, while also completing all routes in under an hour to ensure students arrive at school on time and for those reasons, changes cannot be made once the schedule has been established. We understand that some bus stop locations may be more convenient for others, but the schedule is established to the best of the companies’ abilities given the list of addresses they are provided. Also, please note that schedules change every school year and a student’s pick-up location may change from year-to-year and consideration may be given for extenuating circumstances.
