Teachers and staff returned to school yesterday. I have truly enjoyed connecting with people – it is good to see everyone and I look forward to a successful school year.

First Day of School – August 28
Monday is the first day of school for students and we can’t wait to welcome them back! On Friday, August 25, each school is hosting a “meet & greet” event. Information has been shared directly by each school and is available on our website.
Media Opt Out
Throughout the school year, we take photos to capture and celebrate the good work happening in our schools. These could be shared on our website or on social media or on an internal TV slideshow. We recognize that some families would prefer not to have their child’s photo taken. The “media opt out” form is available on our website. Please print it, fill it out and send into your child’s school if you DO NOT want your child’s photo taken. Hard copies are available in the main office of each school.
Hiring
While school start next week, we still have many positions open. Please consider working in the district or sharing these openings with someone who might be interested.
- Music teacher
- Health teacher
- Special education teachers
- Paraprofessionals – full-time and part-time
- Lunch monitors – part-time
Everything takes a little longer on the first week of school. Students are learning new routines, staff are learning new schedules and bus drivers are becoming familiar with bus routes and the traffic flow in certain areas of Hudson. It takes a week or two for everyone to get back into the school routine and we greatly appreciate your support.
