Superintendent Update - June 15, 2023

Families -

As we wrap up this school year, we are actively planning for next year.

In the fall, we will resume our strategic planning process and look at the future of education for Hudson’s students. We would like to include more teachers, staff and family members on the committee and to be part of the process.

Please consider being involved – there are many factors for the committee to consider with the changes in the job market, the impacts of social media and COVID. We will follow up in September.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023!

I had the pleasure of attending the Alvirne High School graduation ceremony last week. Graduation is an important milestone for students, their families, teachers and staff and the community. Best wishes for wherever your journey takes you!

NH State Assessment Results

This past spring our students in grades 3-8 took the NH State Assessment in math and English Language Arts. Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 took the assessment in science.

The NH Department of Education has released the results and they are available on the NH DOE website. For security purposes, a unique access code is required, which is available in the district’s PowerSchool parent portal under your student’s name. Directions on how to access it are available on the district’s website.

Have a wonderful summer!
