New Playground
I am pleased to share that the playground at the Dr. H.O. Smith School is complete!!
Thank you to Principal Mary-Ellen Labrie for leading this project. The district is grateful for the partnership with the Hudson Department of Public Works, Police Chief Dionne and Captain Dave Cayot, School Board members Ethan Beals and Mike Campbell, parent and community volunteers, and Hudson Community Television, who filmed the install every step of the way. I’d also like to thank Rocco’s Pizza for donating food each day to feed everyone involved.
The voters approved additional equipment for the playground, which we hope will be installed this summer.
The playground (located behind Dr. H.O. Smith School) is open to the public during non-school hours, before 8:30am and after 3:30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. It will be a great asset to the community for many years to come.
