Families & Staff -
June is an exciting and hectic time of year, as we celebrate the past year and look forward to next year. These last few weeks are filled with step-up day school events, award recognitions and other year-end activities. Today, the senior class returned to their elementary schools for breakfast. While this time of year can be fun, it can also spark anxiety in students, families and staff worried about the unknowns for next year.
Wellness
This week, students organized Wellness Days with the theme “Mind, Body, Soul & Voice'' for seventh and eighth grade students. Former NH Supreme Court Chief Justice John Broderick shared his family’s journey with mental illness and talked about the signs that he missed in his son, which started when he was 13-years old. The justice’s optimistic message is that mental health problems respond to treatment and most people he talks with are struggling or have a close family member or friend that needs support. Learn more about the Five Signs.
Have a good weekend.
