Active Shooter Hoax

Hudson Families, Staff, and Community -

The School District received notification from the Department of Education and the Department of Safety of multiple calls reporting active shooter threats at schools throughout the state.

This morning the Hudson Police Department received a call regarding Alvirne High School and quickly determined the threat was not credible. Even though the threat was not credible, the police department conducted a thorough walk through of the school.

The school district, in collaboration with Hudson Police Department and Hudson Fire Department, continue to stay apprised of the situation and should there be safety concerns to the Hudson School District, notification will be sent to families, and staff. Our school day will continue as normal.

Multiple state agencies are assisting local law enforcement agencies that are responding to these calls and with the investigation into these calls. The New Hampshire Information Analysis Center is heavily involved in coordinating these investigations. If you hear information regarding a safety concern to one of the schools, please contact the Hudson Police Department or 9-1-1.

Any threat is taken seriously and immediately investigated by the emergency responders and administration.

We appreciate your support to continue to ensure the safety of the school community.
