It’s already been an exciting week – dodging a hurricane, tornado warnings too close to home and oppressive heat this week.
I’m keeping my eye on Thursday. The forecast calls for the third day in a row of hot weather with the dew point at 70 percent. The potential heat index is 101 degrees. I’m considering pushing the first day of school to Friday so we can get off on a good start. I’ll make the call by Noon tomorrow and send a message.
Below are more details for COVID-19 protocols. Masks are RECOMMENDED for anyone 12+. Updates and changes to mask protocol will be shared in Thursday emails.
Please reach out to your building principal with questions or send an email to info@sau81.org.
