Fall is officially here and a lot of good things are happening in our buildings.

This email contains:

  • COVID Symptoms
  • Mask Status Communication

Classroom Routines

I’ve heard from staff that many students are taking longer to adapt to classroom routines than they have in the past and some are struggling with basics such as standing in line and following directions. No doubt this is one of the many ripple effects of COVID. Any support you can offer at home, such as asking about classroom expectations and being supportive of our teachers is very helpful and appreciated.

This week our kindergarten students learned about graphing.

COVID Symptoms

Our nurses have seen a big uptick of students coming into school with COVID symptoms. Please keep your student home and contact the school nurse if they have:

Symptoms

*Fatigue

*Headache

*Congestion or runny nose

*New loss of taste or smell

*Fever or chills

*Sore throat

*Cough

*Nausea or vomiting

*Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

*Diarrhea

*Muscle or body aches

Students with any of these symptoms will be sent home. More details are available on the district website.

Mask Status

Today, there are 65 COVID cases in Hudson. Any status changes in the future will be made after there are two days of increases or decreases. Notification will be emailed, just as we did this week.

Have a good weekend!
