Community Superintendent Chat – November 8
On Monday, November 8, I will host a chat with community members in the music room at Alvirne High School at 6:30pm. I will cover the strategic plan, COVID protocols, long-term capital improvements in our schools and answer any questions. Parents, staff, students and community members are welcome.
Job Fair – November 16 – 3 to 6pm
The Hudson School District will host a Job Fair on Tuesday, November 16 at the Barnyard Café (at the CTE center attached to Alvirne) from 3-6pm.
Help us out - be a substitute teacher, a paraprofessional, a lunch monitor, a food service member or substitute custodian. We’ll have interviews onsite. Click here to apply today!
COVID Protocols
On Monday I reviewed our current COVID protocols with the school board. School events have had a great turnout and we’re offering co-curricular activities and athletics.
My goal is to methodically work our way towards a more typical school year without sacrificing safety. I will provide updated COVID recommendations to the school board at the November 15 school board meeting. Please share your feedback here.
COVID Vaccine – Children 5-11
The COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for children ages 5-11. We are working closely with the Hudson Fire Department to offer a clinic but no dates are available this time. Find the vaccine locally through the state vaccine finder.
Have a good weekend!
