TikTok Rumor

There is a national TikTok rumor going viral, discussing gun violence in school on December 17. State officials alerted us earlier this week and stated they were not aware of any credible threats. The Hudson Police Department will have uniformed and plain clothes officers in our schools, so don’t be alarmed by increased police presence. School will go ahead as usual.

I’m sharing this information so you know that we are aware of the rumors and take any threats of harm to our schools very seriously. School safety is our highest priority.

If you hear of a threat, at any time, please contact dispatch at the Hudson Police Department at (603) 886-6011, where someone is available 24-hours a day. Sharing information keeps our schools a safe place to work and learn.

Families - please talk with your children about the seriousness of making threats to the school community, including “joking” about threats. Rumors spread like wildfire on social media and cause anxiety and serious disruption to our schools.

Holiday Break – December 23-31

Just four more school days! I hope everyone gets some time to relax and do something fun before returning to school next year.

Superintendent Search Committee - Survey

The Superintendent Search Committee sent a survey earlier this week, seeking input from families, students, staff and community members to identify the most important issues facing the district as well as key knowledge & skills the next superintendent should possess. The survey closes on Friday, December 17 at Noon. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Have a good weekend!
