HMS Career Day
Hudson Memorial hosted Career Day today, for the first time in three years. Over 40 professionals from southern NH shared their jobs and career paths with our eighth-grade students. Student CTE Ambassadors made the connection with our 15 career and technical education programs to different career opportunities. It’s a great event and students were reminded they have ten weeks left as middle schoolers.
School Board Update
I’d like to welcome Maureen Dionne to the board. She was elected on March 8 along with Gary Gasdia. The board elected Gary Gasdia as Chair and Gretchen Whiting as Vice Chair. I look forward to working with the board for the rest of the school year.
Reminder: Cabaret at Alvirne High School
Cabaret is Saturday, March 26 at 1pm and 6pm and Sunday, March 27 at 1pm. We’re excited to have this long-time tradition back! Get tickets at: alvirnemusic.ludus.com
It’s officially spring and that means a lot of activity in our schools as well as planning for next year. I’ll continue to share Thursday messages, as needed. There may be a week without a message if there isn’t anything important to share.
No school tomorrow for students! Have a good weekend.
