Civics Assessment Reminder - Seniors

On Wednesday, April 23, seniors currently enrolled in US and NH Government, as well as those who have not yet passed the state-required civics assessment, will take the assessment. This semester, we are using the state's new online testing system, which will feature multiple-choice questions rather than the traditional paper-and-pencil format with written responses. Testing will take place in the library on the scheduled test day.

We will be testing on Wednesday, April 23, during blocks 1 and 4. Communication was sent to students to inform them of their scheduled test dates. To take the online test, students will need a device provided by the Hudson School District. Personal devices cannot be used.

If you have any questions, please ask your social studies teacher or Scott Rush, the Social Studies Department Head.

Alvirne HS and Timberlane Regional HS Theater Students Collaborate

Alvirne HS and Timberlane Regional HS Theater Students Collaborate

When directors from Alvirne High School and Timberlane Regional High School discovered that both schools were staging a performance of Anastasia this spring, they decided to form a collaborative effort between students from both schools.

When Timberlane arrived, the casts introduced themselves, played some theater games, ate pizza, and then performed together. It was amazing to see - with no practicing or prompting, they joined together in song and dance.

Thank you to Mrs. Denis, English Department Head; Mr. Scagnelli, District Director of Music; Mr. Gallagan, Music Teacher; and Ms. Torres, Special Education Teacher, for making this collaboration a success!
