NHSAS - Science (Juniors)

NHSAS - Science will take place on Wednesday, April 16. All juniors will participate during the 2nd block and flex. The State of New Hampshire requires all districts to administer the NHSAS-Science to all juniors. The results of NHSAS help the district determine where resources need to be allocated to support the learning of all students.

Please encourage your student to approach this assessment with a positive mindset.

Capstone Projects Impact the Hudson Community

Senior English Capstone is a graduation requirement that provides all students the opportunity to showcase how the Hudson School District has equipped them with the skills outlined in the Portrait of a Graduate. Many students choose to complete service projects that benefit the community. Mrs. Denis' student, Ryan Hurrell, collected over 600 pounds of food to donate to the Hudson Community Food Pantry, and Hills Garrison Elementary students learned about responsible pet ownership from Ms. Sullivan's student, Kloey Zink.

We hope you will join us on May 15th from 6:00 to 8:30 to celebrate our amazing seniors!

Health & Human Services Exploration Students Learn about Careers in Radiology

A huge shout-out to Michele Stone, Imaging Informatics/Ultrasound Lead at Monadnock Community Hospital! Michele has once again stepped up to educate the Health & Human Services Exploration students about careers in Radiology, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and more. Her presentations are always captivating, featuring real images that challenge students to identify what they see. We deeply appreciate Michele's unwavering support, no matter the distance she travels or the early hours she has to endure.

Putting for Patients Event a Huge Success

The 3rd Annual Putting for Patients event was held on Friday night and, once again, was a phenomenal success! Many thanks to the National Honor Society members who worked tirelessly to organize and host this event, which raised money for the Jimmy Fund in memory of Tyler Blanchette and Monique Braccio. A special thank you to Mrs. Tieman and her team of balloon experts for bringing smiles to everyone's face with personalized balloon creations. The community came out in force by either coming to the event or donating raffles or pizza (thank you Rocco's), helping to raise over $1900 to help find a cure for childhood cancers.
