Report Cards
Report cards will be posted to the parent portal no later than Tuesday. To access your student's report card, please visit PowerSchool through the parent portal. The PowerSchool app will not allow you to view your student's report card.
Some key things to review on the report card:
1. Under "completed courses" at the top of the report card are semester courses your student earned credit for. If you see a grade of "F" in the FIN column, that means your student did not pass their semester course and they are not eligible for competency remediation.
2. Under "completed courses," if your student earned a PC for a course, that means their numerical grade equated to an "F," but they earned credit for the semester course because they met the course competencies.
3. Under "completed courses," if your student earned an FC for a course, that means your student failed a competency(s), but they are eligible for competency remediation.
Additionally, please review your student's comments and citizenship grades as this is where student behavior is reported. The citizenship grade is on scale of 1-4 and is based on the rubric below.
Thank you for being such an important part of your student's educational journey!
Winter Remediation
Winter school will begin on Monday, February 10 and will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for 3 weeks during the weeks of February 10, February 17, and March 3. The late bus will run on all winter remediation days.
Communication to all families with students who are eligible for winter remediation will be sent to the PowerSchool email on file by the end of the day today. If you do not receive communication, but your student has an FC as a grade on the "completed courses" section of the report card, please reach out to me at jwise@sau81.org or (603) 886-1260 ext. 75006.
