Strategic Planning Community Forums

A new five year strategic plan is being developed by the Hudson School District. The strategic plan will guide our vision, mission, and goals, and as such, community involvement is encouraged. The first community forum will take place on Wednesday, January 31 at 7:30 pm in the Barnyard Cafe at Alvirne High School’s Wilber Palmer Center. For a complete list of dates, please click here.

Master Schedule Development Guidelines

Alvirne High School, in collaboration with SAU staff and the School Board, has developed guidelines for determining courses that will be offered in the program of studies. These guidelines consider course enrollment numbers when deciding which courses will run in the next school year. For more information on how these decisions will be made, please see the link here.

Student/Family Handbook Highlight

As we begin the start of the second semester, it is important to remember that students are expected to behave and engage in a manner consistent with the Hudson School District’s Portrait of a Graduate. The skills all graduates should possess are responsibility, communication, citizenship, curiosity, and social and emotional. For more details on how these skills are defined, please click here. For a fully accessible version of this information, please go to the website and click on the “Hudson School District’s Portrait of a Graduate” tab.

Enjoy the week!
