Midyear Assessment Week
Due to January 16 being a snow day, the midyear assessments will begin on Wednesday, January 17 and end on Monday, January 22. The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday 1/17 - Maroon periods 1 and 2
Thursday 1/18 - Gold periods 1 and 2
Friday 1/19 - Maroon periods 3 and 4
Monday 1/22 - Gold periods 3 and 4
For details about the bell schedule, bus schedule, and remediation times, please review those documents. Math support and reading/writing support will be provided in the academic support center throughout the week and classroom teachers will be available for support during the make-up/remediation times.
Teacher Workshop Day
Tuesday, January 23 is the Presidential Primary Voting Day and as such has been designated a teacher workshop day so that Alvirne High School can be used as a polling location. There are two polling locations in the Town of Hudson. Get information on where to vote.
Student/Family Handbook Highlight
As we near the end of Quarter 2, eligibility for participation in athletic/co-curricular activities immediately following this quarter is determined by students passing four courses and maintaining a Quarter 2 GPA of 1.7.
