HMS Family Update 3-24-23

Hudson Memorial School

Family Update – March 24, 2023

Dear HMS Families,

Spring is here and we have a lot of excited things happening at Hudson Memorial School.  Before we share the upcoming events and opportunities, I would like to recognize our outstanding accomplishments from our winter athletic season.  The Hudson Memorial School Spirit Team won the Tri County Championship this past winter and represented Hudson Memorial School and the Community of Hudson with tremendous pride and energy.  Great Job Girls!  You made us proud.  Equally as impressive, our Hudson Memorial School Wrestling team showed tremendous grit and determination throughout the season with 5 wrestlers placing in the top six of the State Championship Wrestling meet.  Congratulations to Will Boncore – 6th Place , Timothy Malley – 5th Place, Mason Verrocchio – 4th Place, Nathan Pomeleau – 3rd Place, and Noah Gendreau – 1st Place and State Champion.  You were all outstanding representatives of Hudson Memorial School and the Community of Hudson.  Excellent job Guys!

On March 13th, The Hudson Memorial School Teachers and staff held our annual STEAM Night.  This event drew over 400 people from across the Town of Hudson and was an outstanding event for students, and families to enjoy Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics games, displays, activities, and much more.  Please join me in thanking our planning committee: Ms. Blais, Ms. Freemantle, Ms. Fillmore, Ms. Kiely, and Mr. Pooler.  I would like to also recognize our many staff volunteers who helped to facilitate the many activities of the evening: Ms. Richard, Ms. Gannon, Ms. Ide, Ms. Rouleau, Mr. Schmidt, Ms. Reinitzer, Ms. Joncas, Ms. Mathur, Ms. Kalsi, and the entire HMS Custodial Staff.  The evening would not have been a success without the contributions of our students leaders and their many hours of volunteerism to the project.  I would like to extend a warm thank you to Ella Prouxl, Mena Lewis, Danica Weaver, Teagan Douglas, Sienna Ciccia, Ryleigh Dressel, Avriah Ellis, Aubrie Hewett, Alex Henderson, Jaida Secovich, Mya Clifford, and Tori Alves.  And a Special thank you to the Nashua Area Radio Society, Sub Zero Ice Cream,  and the Hudson Memorial School PTO for their outstanding contributions to the event.  Fantastic event and a job well done bay all!  Thank you!

Below, you will see our upcoming events and activities.
