Welcome to the Library Learning Commons

Hudson Memorial School Library Information:

Hours:

The library is open from 7:30am-2:40 each day.

Our Philosophy:

Each Library Media Center in the Hudson School District welcomes all members of the school community. The Library Media Center is a safe place of learning, exploring, reading, and accessing media materials.

Our Mission:

Ensure that all students are effective users of ideas and information.

Visiting The Library:

Students are welcome to visit the library during the school day. If a student wishes to come down during a class period, they must first ask their teacher for permission and get a pass to visit the library. Students are welcome to work in the library on their laptops if they need a quiet space to work. During intervention period, students who have completed their work may come down to the library (with permission) to work on Makerspace activities or read a book.

Makerspace:

The library has several STEM activities that students may partake in during intervention period (once they have finished their work). The library has a 3D printer, KEVA planks for building and mosaic sticker puzzles. Students need to set up their 3D printing account with Mrs. Sloat before they will be able to 3D design and print in the library.
