Graduation Participation

Recently, the Alvirne administration, SAU, and Hudson School Board Policy Committee reviewed graduation participation.  The high school principal recommended the following updated language which will be in effect beginning with the Class of 2024:

Students who successfully complete requirements for the Alvirne Diploma, Alvirne Continuing Education Diploma, Certificate of Completion per their Individual Education Plan, and Hi-Set may participate in the graduation ceremony, celebrating completion of their pathway through the Hudson School District.  Exchange students and seniors who are within one credit of fulfilling requirements, with a pending approved summer completion, may participate in the ceremony, at the discretion of the principal.

Home school and other students/families wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony should contact the Superintendent of Schools.
