Family/Teacher conferences will be held on Wednesday, 3/20 from 3:15-6:15. Appointments can be made using the link provided here.
Quarter 3 Ends April 3
Quarter 3 ends April 3. As we near the end of the quarter, please continue to review your student(s) competencies to ensure they are working towards successful completion of their courses. Students should be discussing concerns with their teachers, but if you have concerns, please feel free to reach out to the teachers. They are happy to discuss student progress with you.
Spring Sports
On Monday March 18th, all of our spring sports begin. Good luck to our athletes and coaches in the following athletic teams: tennis, track and field, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. We are also trying to start a club volleyball team for boys.
Cabaret
Congratulations to the Alvirne Music Department for another successful Cabaret! The amount of musical talent demonstrated by all was a joy to witness. The students’ passion for music was infectious whether they were connecting with the audience through the instruments they played or through the lyrics they sang.
In addition to the dedication of the Music Department and the talented musicians, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the amount of time that goes into a production of this magnitude. Thank you to all who donated their time to make this weekend’s production a success!
After-Hours Math Support
As a reminder, after-hours math support is being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm, via Teams, throughout the month of March. Some areas of support include the following:
Students who need extra support to be successful in their math class.
Students who need homework help.
Junior students who would like help preparing for the upcoming state assessment on April 3.
Students who would like help preparing for SATs.
Families, please encourage your student(s) to attend. We are happy to provide this opportunity.
