Course Selection Process

School Counselors will be visiting classrooms starting Wednesday, January 24th to start the course selection process. They will meet with juniors first, then sophomores on the 25th and 26th, and finally with the freshmen on January 29th and 30th. For updated course information, please visit the School Counseling page.

Students interested in year one of our excellent Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs need to submit a statement of interest. For more information, please visit the CTE page.

The portal for the students to select their classes will open for juniors on 1/24, sophomores on 1/25, and for freshmen on 1/29. All students will have until Friday February 2nd to complete the process. Selecting classes usually takes only about 10 minutes.

Student/Family Handbook Highlight

As a reminder, the Hudson School District uses Schoology as its learning management system. If your student must miss school, they should refer to their teachers’ Schoology pages to see what they have missed before their next scheduled class.  If they are unable to find what they missed on Schoology, they should email their teachers. Although missing school is sometimes necessary, it is disruptive to the learning process and as such, all effort should be made by the student to promptly make up their assignments. Get more details about make-up work and homework requests.  For a fully accessible version of this information, please go to the website and click on the “Attendance” tab.

Enjoy the week!
