• 5/8 - Mother's Day - wishing a happy day to ALL the moms, grandmothers, and important women in the lives of HGS students & families
• 5/10 - 3rd Grade Techsploration
• 5/12 - Roller Kingdom Night sponsored by the 5th Grade Farewell Committee
• 5/13 - Comfy Dress Day – School Pride Day
• 5/18 - 5th Grade Farewell Meeting – 7pm Lois A Connors Library
• 5/19 - Popcorn Day
• 5/20 - Comfy Dress Day – Formal Dress Day “Dress Your Best”
• 5/26 - Wing Masters visits 5th Grade
• 5/27 - Comfy Dress Day – Red, White, & Blue
• 5/27 - 5th Grade visits CTE
• 5/30 - No School Memorial Day
May also brings us our word of the month, fairness. When we discuss fairness with students, we emphasize that fairness is not equal, but it is everyone getting what they need.
