Mascot

Gary the Gorilla is our school mascot.  The gorilla was chosen in honor of Colossus, a gorilla who resided at Benson’s Wild Animal Farm.

Hot Spots of Hudson

Every year our 3rd graders take a field trip to see the “Hot Spots” of Hudson.  They learn about the history of Hudson and of the Hills Family.  By naming our school Hills Garrison we pay tribute to Hills family whose generosity built many beautiful and long-standing buildings, parks and memorials to show their love for our town.
