TURNING THE CORNER CEREMONY

Library Street School will have a “Turning the Corner” ceremony for Kindergarteners. This is similar to a graduation ceremony where students will perform 2 songs and will be called up to receive a certificate.

The “Turning the Corner” dates are as follows, by teacher:

Tuesday, June 10: Ms. Fredette, Ms. LaCreta, Mrs. Malizia, Ms. White

Wednesday, June 11: Ms. Lindsay, Ms. Mara, Mrs. Moeckel, Ms. Naughton

Thursday, June 12: Ms. Adams, Ms. Norcross, Ms. Peters, Mrs. Richards

The ceremonies will begin promptly at 9:30 AM. Please arrive no earlier than 9:15 AM. Please use front entrance. We estimate the event will be about 30 minutes. Parking will be along School Street and in front of Dr. H.O. Smith, where the tennis courts used to be. Handicapped access is available at the front entrance.

Event Attire: Students should dress nicely in clothing that is easy to move in. It is highly recommended for students to wear sneakers for safety on the stage and risers. (Sneakers could be any color). Students should not wear shoes with high heels. Due to limited space, we ask that each student bring no more than 2 family members for this event.
