Library Street School Halloween Stroll

Library Street School Halloween Stroll

Dear Families:

Library Street School will be having a Halloween Stroll up and around School Street on the morning of Tuesday, October 31st. First graders from H.O. Smith School will start their stroll at 9:30 am, walking down School Street, and we will join in when they reach Library Street School.

This event is a chance for our students to share their costumes with friends, staff and the community.  All parents are invited to come and enjoy the wide range of creative costumes that our students proudly display.  If you plan to join us, parents are asked to line the outside border of School Street (like a parade) for the best viewing and picture taking, as the children will do one loop up and around School Street before returning to school. IF IT SHOULD RAIN, THE OUTDOOR STROLL WILL BE CANCELLED.  Children will still participate in classroom celebrations.

The procedure for costumes is as follows:

Children should wear their costumes to school on Monday, October 31st. No accessories that resemble weapons are allowed.  Also, please do not send make-up with your child.  If your child’s costume includes a mask, please make sure it does not obstruct their vision.

Hope to see you on the 31st!

Sincerely,

Nancy Maguire
