The 1st grade students at Dr. H.O. Smith School have already celebrated many fun events in February. These events have included:
. Ground Hog Day projects on February 2nd
. 100th Day of School with fun counting activities on February 8th
. Valentine’s Day Parties with fun crafts and snacks on February 14th
. Laser Light Shows for the students were held on February 9th and February 10th during
the school day. This event delighted the students and moreover aligned with our Science
Curriculum.
Classroom teachers are looking forward to Parent/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, February 16th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Remember February 27th through March 3rd is our Winter Recess and there will be no school.
When we return from vacation, we will be celebrating Read Across America Week from March 6th through March 10th. Fun events are planned for every day of the week to include Book Themes.
