Update - March 19

Remote Learning Prep
Teachers and staff have spent this week preparing for remote learning. We miss having kids around and we are looking forward to next week.

We have created two guides for remote learning – one for parents and one for students. They are on our web site.
  Parent Guide:
  Student Guide:

Families who have upcoming special education meetings can expect a phone call to discuss options for remote participation.

Elementary parents: you will receive instructions by email on Friday for logging in to your student’s account.

Limited Hours – March 23 - 27
With our staff set up for remote learning, in each building will have limited staff from 10am to 2pm. If you need anything in the building, please contact the main office by phone instead of going to the school.

Thank you for the support this past week – the community has been great and it’s deeply appreciated.

The Hudson School District will continue to provide breakfast and lunch to our students. Meals will be available Monday thru Friday from 10:30 to 12:00 pm beginning on Wednesday, March 18th at Dr. H.O. Smith School, 33 School Street.

Students will pick up lunches at this location regardless of which school they attend.

This “grab and go” process will provide both meals at the same time. You will only need to make one trip daily.

We ask parents to bring (or provide to another adult who is picking up on behalf of families) student identification numbers that are used normally with the Food Service Program. Please note that ID numbers will aid the district in managing the program, but all requests for breakfast and lunch will be honored.

Please enter Dr. H.O. Smith School via First Street, stop at Door 5 and exit left onto Oakwood Avenue. Our staff will come to the vehicle with the grab and go meals and take the student ID numbers at that time. Please be sure to exit via Oakwood Avenue. While forming the line for pickup, please stay to the right side of First Street being sure not to block any driveways.

Meals cannot be consumed on site. We encourage families to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19.

Thank you in advance for your patience. If you should have any questions, please feel free to call the Business Office at 603-886-1258.  Karen Burnell, Business Administrator and Carla Anger, Food Service Director.
