The Home Health and Hospice Center has a variety of resources, including bereavement supports. They have groups and supports for children, teens, and adults, as well as information on summer camps. There are groups require registration, but are free. Please review their website for current groups.

This is a peer run support group. They meet the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm. Unfortunately they cannot accommodate children. They are may open to older teenagers, but this has not worked too effectively in the past.

On-Belay is a program for children who have had a family member that has been effected by cancer. The program encourages is for children to have fun, build a community of support, and to uncover their “inner resilience”. They have adventure based programs including: low and high ropes course, hiking, rock climbing, and sailing. Events are listed on their website, and you can register online (only one event is open for registration at a time). On-Belay has no costs to their program.

St. Joseph’s Hospital

St. Joseph’s Hospital has a variety of support groups, which sometimes are changing. These groups include: Bereavement, and Perinatal Bereavement. Please visit their website, go to “Community Health” and click on “Support Groups” to view current classes.
